Engaged by Adaptec to assist in evaluating the marketplace for a new east coast engineering center in Central Florida. Adaptec had just purchased an Orlando based company that complimented its product line.

- Orchestrated competition between qualified developers to address aggressive financial criteria and timing restrictions
- Performed an analysis of geographical constraints to minimize the location's impact of the selections on the existing 300 employees
- Assisted Adaptec in negotiations with real estate developers and facilitated discussions and solicitations for incentives with state/ local government

- Successfully secured a long-term lease for 100,000 square feet between Taurus and Adaptec at favorable terms, at The Central Florida Research Park
- Successfully assisted Adaptec in securing the maximum economic incentives for training and tax abatements
- Successfully assisted Adaptec in forging a mutually beneficial relationship with the University of Central Florida
- Assisted Adaptec in achieving a two phase occupancy with delivery of the 1st engineering phase on December 1, 2001 only five (5) months after commencing initial construction
- Achieved savings of $2.8 million over the lease term
